Now the FA said they would be more strict on managers for comments made about officials before, during and after matches. But of course, the most outspoken manager in the Premier League couldn’t resist making comments about referee Phil Dowd after Liverpool’s 2-1 loss against Tottenham. Benitez was angry over a no call on a second potential penalty. Well, the FA thought differently. They are looking for a written response from Benitez explaining his comments.
I’m just curious to see how long Liverpool will live with Rafa’s antics off field. The rule the FA put in place has been because of Benitez and his comments towards officials.
