Yes you heard that right. The team out of Nation’s captial, the Black and Red, walked away with a victory not only on the road, but out of the country. To put the icing on the cake, it was their first victory in 2 years in the CONCACAF Champions League. The downfall to all of this…the goal came off a 14th minute penalty kick by Christian Gomez. The offense is in lots of trouble if the only way goals are being scored as of late are from set pieces and penalty kicks. I guess as they always say, “A win is a win.” Let’s see how that goes as the team is struggling to qualify for the playoffs for the MLS.
