DC United of Baltimore?
The City of Baltimore has shown interest in a stadium for United. At this point I know United would like to keep the team close to downtown Washington, but at this point the need of a stadium outweighs any other options. The fact that United has had many failed attempts for a stadium, I don’t think anyone will be holding their breathe on this one. I honestly wouldn’t mind driving the extra time to go to a new stadium (and when Northern Virginia residents complain about the drive, I live in Richmond!). Would you make the trek to Baltimore? Do you think the team will get a rebranding (I hope not, I have too much with DC on it)? Here are a couple articles on the subject: |
