Stand Up for #9

As you have probably heard by now, Charlie Davies, forward for the United States Men’s National Team, was injured in a serious car accident. Granted he was out past USMNT curfew, he is still a great player and this will hurt the team. During tonight’s match against Costa Rica, they are asking everyone to stand up and cheer during the 9th minute in honor of Davies (who wears #9). It is being asked to also print off this flyer if you are going to the match. Davies was an integral part of the USMNT victory at Honduras, which secured the USA’s spot in the World Cup in 2010.

Stuart Holden has also passed on that you can contact Davies via charliedavies9@yahoo.com. The emails are being printed off and given to Charlie in the hospital.
